I heart all essential oils. I totally believe in their healing and calming properties and have a little stash I keep in my nightstand.
I bought a plastic diffuser a few years ago that works perfectly well. What is a diffuser? It is kind of like a tiny humidifier that you fill with a little water and a few drops of your essential oils to waft into the room it’s placed in. They are growing in popularity. Again, this plastic one was just fine, but when I read about the ceramic diffuser on Goop I had to try it. (Not sure what Goop is? It is a trendy, forward-thinking retail and wellness website started by Gwyneth Paltrow. And whatever you may think of her, she has surrounded herself with really interesting dietitians, wellness professionals, and stylists that she offers up to help the average person. Worth a look. Goop.)
What’s more is that my local Nordstrom was having a Goop pop up shop this month! I love when that happens. So I ordered it.
You guys, this is amazing. I have used it every single night since I received it. Not only does it emit a steady or semi-steady stream of air (depending on the option you choose), but the scent is lasting and lingers in the room until I am fully relaxed. At night I use lavender oil and during the day I love the grateful. You do not have to use the Vitruvi oil that Goops sells, but I do find that it is a really good quality. Trust me.
Is this a luxury? Maybe. Can you find cheaper on Amazon. For sure. But, take it from a girl that will take all the help she can get to decompress at the end of a day or when the world is too much to handle and I just need to crawl in bed. This diffuser makes a difference. Love.
