I found it! After 39 years of searching for the perfect, every day t-shirt I finally found it! Oh, and it happens to be on sale at Nordstrom.
I think I have a sensitivity to clothing and fabrics. I only like to wear things that are soft and always have. If I’ve been out all day long, the first thing I do when I get home is throw on a pair of cotton lounge pants and a tank top. If a sweater has any wool in it, forget it. I cannot bear the feeling of wool!
I used to love J.Crew, vintage and slub cotton t-shirts. I still do. The problem I found is that no matter how I laundered them they would inevitably get little holes. Little holes in the middle, on the sleeve, everywhere. Even when I tried to wash them on “hand wash cycle.” I’ve mentioned this to sales people at J. Crew, but they pretended to not know what I was talking about. This has gone on for at least 10 years. Anyone else have that problem? I think it’s a J. Crew conspiracy and as much as I’d like to say I won’t by anymore t-shirts or tanks from them, it’s been my only option! Akk!
Then I found this t-shirt from Teasure & Bond when I was out doing some shopping at Nordstrom. I saw the grey one and loved the vintage look and then I felt it. Butter. The softest ever. I don’t like to try things on in the Nordstrom dressing rooms because, well, it’s a whole story, but they have black paint on the walls and florescent lighting. Let’s just say I don’t leave feeling in love with my body. So, I didn’t try it on until I got home and then I didn’t want to take it off. And then I went back and bought the white. If we had uniforms, this would be mine.
I was talking to one of my besties this morning and telling her about said shirt. I pulled it up and saw it was on sale! From $49 to $29. I shared my excitement with her and then had to share with you. The shirt is flattering, slightly loose and the best part is that it runs big so you get to go down a size! I love when that happens, don’t you?!
Do you have a favorite t-shirt that I should know about? I want to hear! Comment!
