Crying In H Mart by Michelle Zauner

I recently finished Crying in H Mart. It is a lovely memoir about a Korean daughter who loses her mother to cancer. The memory of her mother is still all around her – especially in the food she eats and finally learns to cook.

I LOVE reading and watching anything about food – especially food that I don’t know much about. The descriptions in this book are beautiful. Yes, there are some sad parts, but it is a memoir so usually there are hard bits. But, the stories about the author’s life and relationship with her mother are precious. It’s a quick read and worth it!
